Flotte Weser – an institution in Hameln

Our excursion tip: the small Weser tour or a day boat trip to Bodenwerder

The small Weser tour takes you through the scenic Weser route past the Klüt (Hameln’s local mountain) to the Ohr estate and back to Hameln. The small Weser tour takes only one hour and is suitable for everyone who just wants to try this kind of excursion. Per adult the small Weser tour costs 12 € (without guarantee). There is a two-hour alternative that goes as far as Emmerthal (past the windmill in Tündern) and then back to Hamelin.

You can reach the pier on foot

As a guest of the Hotel Stadt Hameln, you can reach the ship’s dock at Am Stockhof 2 in Hameln by walking along the banks of the Weser for only about 5 minutes. It is only 400 meters to the pier.

Of course, the Weser fleet also offers other tours, e.g. to the Münchhausen town of Bodenwerder. The trip takes about 2.5 hours and starts in Hameln at 10:00 am. After a stay of just under three hours in Bodenwerder, you will return to Hamelin at 4.15 pm.

Or you can simply take your bike with you. Then you do one way with the ship and one with the bicycle.

The ships offer a small gastronomic offer. An ice cream for the kids and the beer for dad is definitely on offer.

You can find all offers and the exact schedules directly at Flotte Weser.
